Into the Swamp


Hiding in the hills, and taking to the trees
Wayward wandering ones

Led by smoke and led by fire
led by the noon day sun

Into the swamp we waded and tromped
baptized our bleeding scars
we flew from the noise to the peaceful fields
and there we gathered stars
