Walking Through Autumn: Week 6


It’s been a bumper year for acorns
rolling across the forest floor in all shapes and sizes

They say that each oak tree produces ten thousand acorns
and of those thousands of acorns
most are eaten by animals and only one or two
become a mature mighty oak
and yet

not one of them goes to waste
